[LHC] Drone realiza primeira entrega oficial nos EUA

Alguém sabe mais detalhes de como funciona esses "self-flying vehicles" 
? Acredito que eles se guiam por GPS óbviamente e com uma rota pré 
definida que não necessariamente seja linha reta. Digo isso porque 
dependendo do destino pode haver um prédio alto no meio do caminho e 
como o drone vai saber disso com exatidão ?

Outro detalhe é sobre a entrega do produto: Como o drone vai saber 
exatamente aonde deixar o pacote. Algum sistema de sinalização (QR 
code,etc) no chão ou no topo de uma edificação que o drone reconhece 
através de uma câmera ?!
